String closure > metal clasp
For myriad reasons, not the least of which is a string closure is far less likely to slice the back of your hand open when you reach into a box of files because someone didn’t close it properly.
My only solace lies in the hope that this wound will somehow grant me the powers of the envelope

I can’t count how many times I’ve had incredibly uncomfortable run-ins with overly aggressive guys who felt they were entitled to harass me while I was going about my daily business just because I am a woman.
That feeling of anxiety and fear while trying to maintain a calm exterior and not “make a scene” is total fucking bullshit, and I’m just not going to do...

Spent the day climbing and losing at playing board games. Cooperative board games too, so really everyone lost. Also, Europe and Asia were swallowed by disease.
Spent yesterday with the lovely Julie pretending we’re a real couple that goes on dates instead of always ordering pizza and watching Netflix
Which by the way, totally counts as a date if that’s what you planned on doing. And...
