Analyzing elements of a Pokemon board game and tuning the gameplay mechanics is now something I can say I’ve done. The variant rules need more playtesting, but we think it should lead to a more satisfying game experience. Now if only the game had not gone out of print in 2000. How cool would it be to make board games for a living?
